Counselling helps people struggling with everyday issues who may need additional support to help them through challenging events in their life or identify negative patterns of relating or behaviour in order to develop more positive strategies and patterns going forward.
My role is to help you make sense of what is happening and not just label your experience. I believe the key to success is through the relationship of therapist and client and I work towards a carefully boundaried relationship where you can feel safe, tell your story, and really be listened to. I offer empathy and space where you can feel valued and talk in comfortable surroundings.
