Counselling is a talking therapy that allows a person to talk about their problems and feelings to a person trained to listen, in a safe, confidential, and reliable environment.

When things are going well, we feel good about ourselves, we feel comfortable with other people, and we can meet the demands of life. But sometimes we go through difficult times in our lives or we may experience feelings that concern us – grief, fear, loneliness, anger, or guilt. You may be going through a crisis such as a bereavement or a sudden change in a relationship or work. Or it may be that a situation that has gone on for some time suddenly seems unbearable and everything’s getting on top of you.
